Jorge Fontanez, Founder | CEO
I advise small businesses and startups with a focus on brand and marketing strategy. And I enjoy consulting for-profit and nonprofit social enterprises developing next level growth strategies. Today, I am intensely focused on go-to-market strategy, audience development, stakeholder engagement and creating earned revenue models.
I am having fun experimenting in the classroom as an adjunct professor of Marketing with Bard MBA in Sustainability, where I am exploring how we might "Achieve a Regenerative Economy through Meaningful Stakeholder Engagement." As a First Movers Fellow since 2014 at The Business & Society Program of The Aspen Institute, I have an expressed commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), creating shared value at the intersection of corporate profitability while addressing environmental and social issues.
I have been involved with a number of nonprofit organizations committed to a range of issues related to youth, education, community building, and social justice. Now I am motivated to partner with individuals and organizations doing transformational work.
I am an Afro-Latinx, queer affirming voice hailing from Philadelphia, representing the Puerto Rican diaspora living in New York City.
